Each year we hire part-time, temporary help to join our staff while we provide the video services for the Zone II Hunter Finals and the Washington International Horse Show, two premier indoor equestrian events. We need help for the following: Zone II Hunter Finals Harrisburg, PA PA Farm Show Arena 10/22/06 Washington Local Show & Zone 3 Finals Upper Marlboro, MD (Suburban Washington, D.C.) PG Equestrian Center/ Show Place Arena 10/20 - 10/22/06 Washington Int'l Horse Show Washington, D.C. Verizon (MCI) Arena 10/24 - 10/29/05 Editing after the shows Lancaster, PA Action Video office 11/06 - 12/06 Our desire is to provide superior customer service and a quality product when the customer needs it. The shows generally run from 7 am to 10 pm each day, though hours do vary. Staff members are scheduled in shifts depending upon their availability. We are always looking for quality people in the following positions: Video camera operators -- We need camera operators who are steady and smooth while video taping live action. We'll be shooting from a tripod located at the mid-point of each arena. This requires the ability to pan, tilt, and zoom all at the same time while keeping the horse and rider a consistent size throughout. Video editors -- Conscientious editors for linear Super VHS and DVD editing. The editing must be accurate and flow smoothly from one round to the next. We edit on-site during the Harrisburg and D.C. shows, and also afterward at our office in Lancaster, PA. Customer service personnel -- Serve customers at our horse show booths during the shows, taking orders, cueing video tapes, playing back video for the customers, and helping us provide a quality service operation.
