Susan E. Moody, DVM
A Short Biography

The "Dressage: Understanding Musical Freestyle" training video program was painstakingly guided by Dr. Susan Moody, a dressage instructor and judge. She reviewed hours of footage from numerous years of competitions of the U. S. League Finals for World Cup Dressage. She carefully critiqued and selected the video footage that would be most helpful for this program, and she co-wrote the script. Her professional input has helped to make this an exceptional training tool. Here is her biography:

• United States Pony Club "A" Rating - Sept. 1976
• Bachelor of Arts, Biology - June 1977
• Director of Riding - Merestead Farm, Director of Riding, University of Akron - she has been teaching balanced seat riding, jumping and dressage for over 30 years.
• Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine - June 1986 - she has practiced small animal medicine and surgery for twelve years.
• Active with the United States Pony Clubs in the Maryland Region since 1986 - Regional Clinics Director and Instructor since 1987, Chief Horse Management Judge since 1987, Regional Examiner, Clinician, Instructor and Judge since 1987, Regional Horse Management Organizer since 1990, Horse Trials Organizer and Course Designer since 1993, guest speaker at national horse management conferences.
